The movie is not enjoying a good ride at the box office and we wonder if any miracle would also save this sinking ship. Popular trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to reveal Pataakha's Sunday collections that are slightly greater than its Saturday earnings. He wrote, #Pataakha witnesses escalation in biz, but the 3-day total is low... It’s all about maintaining the pace today [Day 4]… Day 5 [Tue] is a national holiday, hence the biz should shoot up again... Fri 90 lakhs, Sat 1.40 cr, Sun 1.75 cr. Total: ₹ 4.05 cr [875 screens]. India biz.

With Stree still going strong at the box office and Sui Dhaaga managing to earn a decent business, chances for Pataakha's survival are very bleak. Nonetheless, not every day we get to see a movie led by two women releasing in Indian cinemas. And Pataakha is indeed interesting if you go by the critics' verdict. So, we urge our readers to give the movie a try and decide if it was worth all your time.
