Parineeti Chopra Bags a Role in Saina Nehwal Biopic and NOT RRR, Actress Replaces Shraddha Kapoor
The Saina Nehwal biopic is directed by Amol Gupte. The film produced by Bhushan Kumar is expected to the hit the screens in the early 2020.
During a recent interaction with media for Kesari, actress Parineeti Chopra was asked about the rumours whether she has bagged a role in SS Rajamouli’s mega budget film, RRR. The actress just mentioned that ‘within a week’ the announcements of her upcoming projects will be made. It left many curious what Parineeti was hinting about. But yesterday the ace filmmaker revealed the star cast of RRR and that cleared the air, Parineeti has not been roped in. Meanwhile the big news is finally out and that is, Parineeti has bagged a role in the Saina Nehwal biopic. Yes, actress Shraddha Kapoor is not anymore part of the project. CONFIRMED! According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, a source has confirmed that Parineeti Chopra will essay the role of the ace shuttler in the sports drama. Shraddha Kapoor has apparently stepped out of the project due to her tight schedules. The actress is presently shooting for Chhichhore. It was just last month when she started with Street Dancer 3D and meanwhile she also has Saaho in her kitty which slated to hit the screens in August. The source revealed to the tabloid, “Despite everyone’s best efforts to accommodate the Saina biopic, dates were clashing, so it made sense for Shraddha to opt out. The makers of Saina Nehwal biopic are expecting to wrap the film’s shooting by this year-end, so the film could be released in early 2020. The film directed by Amol Gupte is produced by Bhushan Kumar. Parineeti Chopra who is excited about the project, will soon begin with the training sessions.
