Anushka Sharma stunned everyone with her fairy tale like bridal avatar in her Tuscany wedding with Virat Kohli. However, she took everyone by surprise even more with her creepily frightening avatar in her upcoming horror movie 'Pari'. Her pale- skin, blue eyes and stoic expressions were deadly enough to make her fans forget her bubbly self. But do you know who is behind this dramatic change in Anushka's look? It is British Prosthetic Designer, Clover Wootton. The man behind the camera, made it possible for this glamorous diva attain the unimaginable only after putting a lot of thought in the process.

Speaking about Anushka's look in the film, Wootton told a daily, "With Rukhsana’s character, we needed to understand that she has been through a lot physically, and that is how her look had to be designed. Her hair quality is bad and damaged, her skin would be pale, dry and dirty. The conditions that she has been living in will have had an effect on her body, but at the same time she needed to look attractive too."

The make-up artist further revealed the exact details about how they made changes on an attractive face like that of Anushka's. He added, "There are many shades to Anushka’s character in Pari. But, most importantly, we wanted people to forget Anushka the person, and think about Rukhsana (her character) alone. Anushka being a strikingly pretty face, we didn’t do too much with her. We just made her eyebrows bushier, added lenses and darkened the under eyes so that she looked more tired. We blurred the edge of her lips so that it looks drier and that is literally all that we did. Depending on the scene requirements we made her cheeks a little more pink but that’s about it…nothing more was done and yet, she looked so different!”

Well, now you know why the 29- year- old actress looks so effective on the screens with her horrific expressions on point! 'Pari' will be directed by Prosit Roy and is scheduled to release on March 2.
