Unless there is a miracle happening where audience realise that Pari is definitely one of the best movies to come out this year, the movie looks to become a box office disappointment that movie lovers might regret in the later years. The horror movie directed by debutante Prosit Roy has Anushka Sharma in the lead, and ans is also co-produced by her. Pari has got some really good reviews and great word-of-mouth publicity and yet it hasn't translated to good numbers at the box office.
Pari has been reportedly made on a budget of Rs 30 crore. As per the latest box office figures provided by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie has collected Rs 17.48 crore at the box office. Like nearly every movie, Pari has seen a dip in its Monday collections, earning just Rs 2.71 crore compared to its Sunday collections of Rs 7.02 crore. We have to see if the movie ever recovers from this slump, which going by its average run, seems nigh impossible.

Pari's one major competitor, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety (Pulkit Samrat's Veere Ki Wedding is a non-starter), has collected Rs 68.05 crore in its two week run that it has not completed the second week yet. The anti-romcom had also seen a dip on its Second Monday, and yet did slightly better than Pari, getting Rs 2.71 crore.
#SonuKeTituKiSweety is ROCK-STEADY on second Mon...[Week 2] Fri 5.83 cr, Sat 6.55 cr, Sun 7.02 cr, Mon 2.71 cr. Total: ₹ 68.05 cr. India biz... SUPER-HIT... #SKTKS
