A good chunk of the first half of Panga has been dedicated to establishing characters, their relationships with each other and the environment they work in. Kangana Ranaut, Jassie Gill, Richa Chaddha slip into their character effortlessly. All three of them are so simple cute and elegant. But the show-stealer is child actor, Yagya Bhasin. What a brilliant actor! The first half is beautifully engaging. It flows seamlessly, without missing a beat. There is humour where it is required. There are emotional scenes where it is required. Jaya (Kangana) is a former National-level Kabaddi player who gives up her dream to take care of her son Aadi (Yagya). She has the most supportive husband (Jassie) to ever exist in Indian cinema. She is leading a happy life, but won't feel the happiness when she looks at herself. A comeback into Kabaddi is what will ignite that light in her. The actors are playing their part convincingly.
