Pandit Veeru Krishnan passed away today in Mumbai. He was a renowned Kathak dancer, under whom many Bollywood celebs, like Juhi Chawla, Katrina Kaif and Karanvir Bohra, have trained. '90s kid might remember Veeru Krishnan from his cameo appearances in movies like Raja Hindustani, Ishq, Hum Hain Raahi Pyaar Ke and Akele Hum Akele Tum. His comic timing was just as brilliant as his dancing skills. Bollywood celebs have mourned for the loss. Amongst the first ones to tweet condolences were actresses Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta, both of whom trained under him.
Lara Dutta wrote, "He really was an institution." And Priyanka Chopra revealed that Veeru Krishnan taught her to dance whe she had two left feet. Karanvir shared a couple of pictures with the master himself.
