On Independence Day, several Bollywood movies took the opportunity to reveal new trailers and posters that had their actors wish their fans on the special day. One such movie was Paltan. This gesture was expected from the team, since it is a war drama and therefore rides high on patriotism. Paltan is directed by JP Dutta, known for making war-based films like Border and LOC - Kargil. The movie is based on the 1967 Nathu La and Cho La clashes along the Sikkim border after 1962 Indo-China War.
