Padmavat Release Date Finally Unveiled: Deepika Padukone’s Movie To Hit Theatres On January 25, Ready For Clash With Padman

Mumbai, January 8: Deepika Padukone- Shahid Kapoor- Ranveer Singh starrer Padmavat has finally got a release date! After the tumultuous process that it went through to lock a date for the release, it has finally decided to release on January 25th. Interestingly, the Republic day weekend also has the big releases like Akshay Kumar starrer Padman. While everyone was excited about this clash between the reel brothers, the release of Padmavat on the same date has surprised the fans. You will be stunned to know that Padmavat's release date made the makers of Aiyaari push the release date to February 9, 2018. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#Padmavat to release on 25 Jan 2018... #RepublicDayWeekend.” " It’s OFFICIAL... #Aiyaary shifted to 9 Feb 2018... Neeraj Pandey directs... Stars Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee, Rakul Preet Singh, Pooja Chopra, Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher."
After a lot of controversy around the film, it was decided that the film’s name will be changed from Padmavati to Padmavat. The film was earlier supposed to release on December 1, 2017,however, after a lot of discussions and debates over the content and the name of the film, it got postponed up till this month. However, the latest reports say that the film might not be released in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The film also was given the UA certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification after the title change.
It will be interesting to see the clash of both the films as they consist a strong lead cast. Padman (Jan 25) starring Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Radhika Apte in the lead, is the also the first production of producer actor Twinkle Khanna. On the other hand, Neeraj Pandey is back with another Indian thriller with Aiyaary (Feb 9) starring Sidharth and Manoj Bajpayee. However, going by the curiosity engulfed around the film, it is going to be a tough clash for the movies. All we can say that the audience is going to have a tough time to choose their favourite watch on the Republic Day weekend.
