After lending massive support to Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat, B- town has now geared up to show the same love to Akshay Kumar, Radhika Apte, Sonam Kapoor starrer PadMan. The R Balki film had to push its date to February 9, but then they also know how make it up for the loss. The makers of this social drama are promoting the theme of the movie which is 'sanitary napkins and periods' in a fun and effective manner called as 'PadMan Challenge'. In this challenge, the tinsel town stars have to post their picture holding a sanitary pad in their hand and then nominate other Bollywood stars to do the same. The challenge started with Twinkle Khanna and in no time  actors like Deepika Padukone, Swara Bhaskar, Alia Bhatt, Aamir Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and others joined the bandwagon.

While most of them did the regular posing with the pad ritual, some of them turned creative for the challenge. Alia Bhatt hung upside down into her gym holding the pad and captioned it, 'Just hanging around in the gym.. with a pad :) no biggie! Thank you @akshaykumar for the challenge.. I shall challenge my fellow gym-ers @YasminBodyImage @Sophie_Choudry & @impoornapatel #PadManChallenge.' Sophie and her gang too took up the challenge in a similar fashion.

'Fanne Khan' stars Rajkummar Rao and Anil Kapoor played a whole skit for the challenge, where Kapoor became a shopkeeper and Rao was a customer buying sanitary pads. Check out how all the Bollywood stars made the challenge special in their own style.

Well, looks like the film is going to be one big revolution in aspects of menstrual hygiene issues, on a large scale. PadMan is based on the  social activist Arunachalam Muruganantham and his work in revolutionizing menstrual hygiene rural India.
