In California, families living in San Francisco Bay bought the entire inventory of seats of the theatre, to watch the period-drama movie. The craze doesn't end here! To everyone's surprise, there was even a dress code. They enjoyed the three-hour tale donning the Rani Padmavati-like attire. It was quite a hilarious scene to see these families shake their leg to the famous Ghoomar song.

The movie starring Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as Rajput King Maharawal Ratan Singh, and Ranveer Singh as invader Alauddin Khalji is based on the 13th century poem titled 'Padmavat' by Malik Mohammad Jayasi.

Well, it seems that the massive outrage by several fringe groups like the Shri Rajput Karni Sena has done a lot of free publicity for the film. The protestors who targeted the movie, claiming it to be an alleged distortion of Indian History, could not stop Rani Padmavati’s frenzied energy in the movie. The video shows how the enthusiasm surrounding the film has spread to International territories too.

Trade Analyst Komal Nahta shared the amazing video on Twitter. Women are seen dancing cheerfully on the tunes of Ghoomar song from the film.

At a National Basketball Association (NBA) basketball match held on January 28, a bunch of cheerleaders were seen dancing to the melodious tunes of the song Ghoomar. Spectators were overjoyed with the unexpected performance during the match between Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat. The video was uploaded on the official Facebook page of NBA, and it has gone viral with millions of views in short time.

Among the many objections list set by Karni Sena, Ghoomar song has been topping the charts. They claimed that the song demeaned Rani Padmini’s grace and honour. The fringe group went furious as Deepika’s midriff was exposed during the sequence, which after many threats was covered before the release of the film.

With all the hullabaloo around, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat continues to dominate the Box Office with collections over Rs. 124 Crore till now. The tale is getting incredible love and whistles from the fans.
