It’s time that people stop cribbing about the controversies surrounded around Padmaavat. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus successfully managed to rush past the protests and allegations and is ready to hit the screens on January 25. However, just before the big release, an interesting dialogue promo featuring Deepika Padukone has become viral and this just piques our interest in the flick even more. In the latest video, we get the glimpse of beautiful and fearless Queen Padmavati aka Rani Padmini. It is inspiring to watch how the queen takes the reigns in her own hand and wages a war against Sultan Alauddin Khilji.

In the past trailers, we saw the magnanimous sets of the masterpiece. Shahid Kapoor aka Raja Rawal Ratan Singh is seen in a calm demeanor through all the difficulties coming his way. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh does his best to make Alauddin Khilji alive on the silver screen. Now this dialogue promo works as catalyst in generating curiosity about the film.

Meanwhile, the call for ban in the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh Gujarat and Haryana has been rejected by the Supreme Court of India. However, post this decision, there came fresh threats from Karni Sena, this time claiming to bury the maker and the lead actress alive!

While speaking to a news channel, protestor Thakur Abhishek Som said, “We will bury Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone alive if the movie is released. We’ve always opposed the idea of making a film on Padmavati because she is our Goddess. Our ancestors worshipped her, we worship her, and our future generations will continue to worship her. You don’t play with our self-respect and pride… We respect the Supreme Court but they (the judges) must respect our sentiments. They themselves are victims. Only a few days ago, they had come out in the open to express their grievances in front of the country.” Well, we wonder how many more days the Padmaavat makers will be at the receiving end of all the threats.
