Even after its release, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed film Padmaavat has not been able to pave its way out of a web of controversies! There were high speculations of the film, Padmaavat (earlier titled Padmavati) facing the wrath of movie piracy and it did come true after it was reportedly streamed online on one of the Facebook pages named Jaaton Ka Adda. Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh starrer film released in over 4000 screens on January 25 amid huge protests by Karni Sena.

The controversial period-drama is in trouble as it has been already viewed over 3.5 lac times in a very short span. It seems that a lot of people have tried their hands to watch Padmaavat movie free online after it was leaked on Facebook. Also, the post which showed the full Padmaavat movie online has been shared by more than 15,000 people at the time of this report.

If you are a regular user of Facebook, it will be an easy way for you to download Padmaavat online for free. The movie which saw nationwide protests released to a lukewarm response. The number of protests all over the country and the politics being played in the name of Rajput valour and honour depicted in Padmaavat are the prime reasons for such a dull start.

However, it is being reported that movie buffs have courageously thwarted off violent threats of the fringe group – Karni Sena – and have thronged to theatres. One has to wait for the box office collections to find out if the movie-goers braved the resistance from the fringe group and watched the movie in theatres.

Piracy has happened in the past and Bollywood is no stranger to it. Movies like Raees, Phillauri, Dangal etc. have all fallen victims to it. This time it is Padmaavat, which is made available online and the controversies around it fail to end. Just when people were hoping that things would return to normalcy and the film will sail through, the period drama film Padmaavat has been leaked online. It came as a shocker when Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan-starrer movies were leaked online, but even after stringent anti-piracy laws, the movie Padmaavat faces a similar situation.

Padmaavat released all over India in 4,800 screens in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. It will be interesting to see if Padmaavati will be able to meet its expectations or not. We at Latestly condone any form of piracy and urge the audience to watch the film in theatres (safely).
