Padmaavat Box Office Report Day 15: Deepika Padukone's Movie Emerges Victorious as it Collects Rs 236 crores at the Ticket Windows

By now everyone knows how Sanjay Leela Bhansali managed to rush past the controversies to make a successful movie of 2018 which is Padmaavat. The period drama starring Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in the lead got mixed reviews from the fans but the name of the film was almost all over the nation. Some criticized it, some praised it and some evaluated it. However, no one can deny the fact that all this has helped the flick garner hefty amount at the ticket windows in just 2 weeks. On Day 15, the Padmaavat raked in Rs 5 crores taking the total to Rs 236 crores.

While to talking to a publication, Sanjay Leela Bhansali earlier said, "A lot of people said that I didn’t answer or defend myself. I didn’t come out in the open to speak or react. But my only reaction was to make the film better. If it hit the screen, which it seemed would be almost impossible at one point, that itself would have been a victory.At the cost of repeating myself, I must say that movies like Padmaavat are destined. How can the same set of people (actor, technicians) who have worked on this film and go to another film, are not able to achieve the same kind of results that this movie has? There is some divine energy."
Well, the faith that the makers had in the film has helped them receive this enormous success. The weekend collection will speak volumes and we are sure that the movie is still not done with its stint at BO.
