Padmaavat Box Office Report Day 11: Ranveer, Deepika, Shahid's Movie Collects Rs 212.50 Crores In Just 2 Weeks

Padmaavat finally hits double century in two weeks! The magnum opus starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor have managed to collect substantial amount at the ticket windows. On Day 11, the period drama has collected Rs 20 Crores taking the total to Rs 212.50 crores. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh, "#Padmaavat continues its GLORIOUS RUN as it hits a DOUBLE CENTURY... Crosses ₹ 45 cr mark in Weekend 2 [despite no-screening in few states], which is NOTEWORTHY... [Week 2] Fri 10 cr, Sat 16 cr, Sun 20 cr. Total: ₹ 212.50 cr. India biz."

Both the weeks have turned out to be a tremendous success for the Padmaavat makers. Owing to the high buzz, the movie collected Rs 166.50 crores in the first week itself. It was anticipated that the second week will prove to be one victorious one and likewise it did.

Now that the flick is gaining enormous response by the masses and the critics, the stars keep recollecting the experience while shooting for it. Talking to showsha.com, Ranveer told, "I thoroughly enjoyed playing this part. I like doing different parts all the time and it is very exciting for me. I always wanted to play an antagonist so I was like, why not play it with Mr Bhansali. As they say, be careful what you wish for. I wanted to play an antagonist and I got to play the most evil one ever."
