Vivek Oberoi was stoked to be there at the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and couldn't contain his excitement. The actor has certainly grown close to the Prime Minister given that he recently essayed the Prime Minister's role on-screen in the much-talked-about PM Narendra Modi. Several Bollywood celebrities such as Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut, Karan Johar, flew to Delhi for today's big ceremony. Actor Vivek Oberoi even took to Twitter to share his happiness for the same but he may have accidentally indulged in a bit of promotion for Salman Khan's Bharat. Yes, we are talking about Salman Khan's upcoming film Bharat. But how did that happen? Well, Vivek Oberoi had taken to Twitter to post a picture of himself along with Prime Minister Modi and had a rather special message written with it, he wrote, "Honoured to be invited again to the swearing-in ceremony. I’m watching @narendramodi bhai taking his oath for the 3rd time on his journey from CM Gujarat to PM of Bharat once again! Feeling like a small part of an incredible history 🇮🇳 #ModiSarkar2 #NamoAgain #ModiSwearingIn." Unfortunately, while sharing this tweet, Vivek had initially also added the hashtag 'Bharat' which if you happen to use now, turns up with a Salman Khan emoji. This was posted by Vivek and only after fans pointed it out, the actor deleted his tweet and posted it the second time without the hashtag.
Here's Vivek Oberoi's original tweet:

One would think, after the whole meme controversy, Vivek Oberoi would be a little more careful with Twitter. For the uninitiated, Vivek had shared a meme that was a potshot on Bollywood actress and his former lover, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her relationships. It even included a picture of her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan and after drawing a huge amount of flak from Twitter users as well as the film industry, the actor deleted the tweet.
As far as his recent Twitter mishap goes, we can't help but laugh on the irony that whilst promoting the idea of 'Bharat' (India), the actor ended up promoting not just another film but a Salman Khan film. Unfortunately for Mr Oeroi, we live in the screenshot generation and nothing escapes the social media eye here!
