The first trailer of the upcoming romantic film, Notebook, dropped today. The movie is being bankrolled by Salman Khan's production house and features two new actors. Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl are making their Bollywood debut with the movie. From the first trailer, the movie looks quite promising. It tells the story of two characters who fall in love without even meeting each other. Set on the backdrop of beautiful Kashmir, Notebook looks serene. The trailer has managed to strike a chord with the viewers, we can tell, as most of the reactions on Twitter are in its favour.

With the amazing first look, Notebook has piqued enough interest for the audience to talk about it. Now, it all depends on the subsequent promotional strategies to keep the audience talking about it. We hear bits of two songs from the film and the music will certainly work in the favour.

So, that was our take on Notebook. Now time to hear it from the aam janta. Here is what the audience has got to say about the first trailer.

It was rumoured that the movie is based on the Hollywood film, Notebook. But once you have watched the trailer, you can be sure that it is only a rumour. That said, there are uncanny similarities between Notebook and the Thai film titled, The Teacher's Diary.
