The makers of Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl's Notebook have released another beautiful song from the movie which is titled, Laila. Now, before you jump to a conclusion of your own and think of it as a romantic number, let us tell you it is not. However, it is the journey of Firdaus (Pranutan's character) who slowly discovers that she is in love with Kabir (Zaheer Iqbal). Sung by Dhvani Bhanushali, Laila from Notebook is a slow and soothing number which grows on you if you keep listening to it on loop. The trailer of Notebook created a lot of curiosity about the storyline of the film. Apart from the plot, Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl impress as debutants too. However, we will only come to know how good the movie is, once it releases. Notebook tells the story of two teachers, played by Pranutan and Zaheer, who fall in love with each other without ever having met each other. The film is inspired by a 2014 Thai film, Teacher's Diary. Notebook is directed by Nitin Kakkar of Filmistaan fame, who had also given television actress Kritika Kamra an interesting debut in MitronNotebook, backed by Salman Khan Film, is set to release on March 29.
