Notebook: Is Salman Khan's Production, Starring Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal, Inspired By This Thai Film?
Digging deeper, we found there is a lot in common that Notebook shares with a 2014 Thai film, Teacher's Diary (Khit Thueng Witthaya). Notebook is the debut of Mohnish Behl's daughter Pranutan and Zaheer Iqbal.

Interestingly, Mitron, the last film of Notebook director Nitin Kakkar, who shot to fame with Filmistaan, was a remake of a Telugu film. Let's hope the producers of Notebook have taken proper remake rights for the film.
Another intriguing observation we have here is that Salman Khan will be seen next in Bharat which is a remake of the Korean film, Ode to My Father. So we wonder what's his new obsession with South East cinema, after favouring South Indian films in the past.
