Not Beyond the Clouds, Did You Know Ishaan Khatter Actually Made His Debut in This Shahid Kapoor Fantasy Film?

Ishaan Khatter is winning over the critics with his scintillating and raw performance in Beyond the Clouds. He plays a street-smart drug peddler in Mumbai, who is desperate to get his sister out of a jail when she nearly kills the man who tries to rape her. He later learns a lesson in humanity when he has to take care of the hospitalised rapist's family. Beyond the Clouds is directed by Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi, while Malayalam actress Malavika Mohanan plays his elder sister.

While Ishaan is winning the plaudits for his role in the movie, not many know that this is not his debut role. Yes, you have read it right! We have already seen Ishaan Khatter in a Bollywood movie, that too in a flick that had his elder brother Shahid Kapoor in the lead.

Ishaan Khatter had played one of Shahid Kapoor's nephews in the 2005 film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! The fantasy family entertainer was directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and also stars Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi and Amrita Rao. Check out the poster below -

Ishaan is the kid standing to the left-most corner in the above poster. Interestingly, the movie also marks the debut of the talented actress, Radhika Apte. The boy with the cap and striped T-Shirt is Ishaan, BTW!

Coming back to Ishaan Khatter, he will also been seen later this year in Dhadak. An official remake of the Marathi blockbuster, Sairat, the movie is co-produced by Karan Johar and is directed by Shashank Khaitan. Late actress Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor is making her debut with this movie.
