In a bizarre revelation, actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been accused of snooping on his wife that too by illegal means. This came out when Thane's crime branch had arrested 11 people in connection with sourcing call data records illegally. It is with regards to this case that Nawazuddin Siddiqui's name had popped up. Apparently, the people who have been arrested are private investigators, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui had hired one of them to allegedly spy on his wife, Anjali.

As per news agency ANI, the Mumbai Police has summoned him for questioning as a part of the ongoing investigations, but the actor failed to appear in front of the investigation team. It has to been seen if this spells further trouble for the actor, who recently courted controversy over some explicit (and allegedly false) revelations in his autobiography (that he later withdrew from the stands).

It is also reported that Nawazuddin Siddiqui's lawyer, Rizwan Siddiqui has been sent a copy of the summons. India TV also reported a top cop exclusively told them that not just Nawazuddin Siddiqui, even other Bollywood stars are embroiled in the case. The cop, however, revealed that it was too early to reveal the names now as the investigations are on. If that's the case, then why was Nawazuddin Siddiqui's name revealed now?

If this news is true, we do wonder what is going on wrong between Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife. Also whether this will affect his upcoming biopic where he plays late Shiv Sena Supremo Bal Thackeray.
