Raghav Juyal, Punit Pathak and Dharmesh Yelande have made a name for themselves as accomplished dancers thanks to the reality show, Dance India Dance. Their mentor, Remo D'Souza also gave them an opportunity to be movie stars with the ABCD franchise. Dharmesh had also played an important role in the Riteish Deshmukh-Nargis Fakhri-starrer Banjo. Now, these three are all set to play the main leads in the romcom, Nawabzaade.
Imagine Chashme Baddoor but set the in the '90s where it was ok to ogle to girls and stalk them. Well, that's what the trailer of Nawabzaade gives you an idea of the movie. Dharmesh, Punit and Raghav play three good-for-nothing lads who fall for the same girl, played by a pretty Isha Rikhi. In a surprising twist, it looks like the girl had reciprocated the feelings of the trio, but they promise they won't let a girl come in the way of their friendship. There is a change in stance as the trio crosses paths with a goon, played by Mukesh Tiwari. Also, there is a cop played by Vijay Raaz, and when is seeing Raaz on screen, not a delight?
For a change, Raghav, Punit and Dharmesh rely less on their dancing shoes and more on their capabilities to make you laugh with Nawabzaade. Whether that works or not, we will know when the film comes out. Meanwhile, check out the trailer here -
Nawabzaade is directed by Jayesh Pradhan and produced by Lizelle Dsouza and Mayur K Barot of White Measure Entertainment. The movie was in news thanks to Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor's special appearance in the song, High Rated Gabru, as well as Athiya Shetty and Badshah's Tere Naal Nachna. Nawabzaade is all set to release on July 27.
