Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina's Uri: The Surgical Strike has been super successful commercially and now, it also clinched some honorary accolades. The film marked Aditya Dhar's directorial debut and it has so far bagged four National Film Awards in total. Vicky Kaushal who plays army officer Major Vihan in the lead won the Best Actor award. The rest of the two awards have been conferred for technical categories. Uri: The Surgical Strike has bagged two awards in Best Sound Design and Best Background Score. Four big honours and a lot to cheers went to Aditya Dhar and team. Uri: The Surgical Strike was theatrically released on January 11, 2019. The film was produced by Ronnie Screwvala under his banner RSVP Movies. The Vicky Kaushal film was a blockbuster and did a lifetime business of Rs 244 crores. Apart from Vicky Kaushal and Mohit Raila, the military drama also stars Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam and Kirti Kulhari in major roles.
