Ranveer Singh was invited to attend an event where Filmfare announced its award function. You know headlines are going to be made when you call Ranveer! The actor was quizzed about a lot of people at the press conference this evening and nope we ain't referring to Deepika Padukone this time. Although her name came up too, another important discussion was that about the Prime Minister of India. When at the event, Ranveer was asked about his meeting with Narendra Modi, he said, "I met the prime minister recently and it was a pleasant meeting and we apprised him about what we as young members of the film fraternity are doing and he said we as young members should do which was impossible. He said we should choose content that has in it a message of inclusive India and unity, and I was very happy to report to him that my next film ’83 is one such film where it is truly team India and gentleman from all across the country have come together to make the nation proud and it is really an extraordinary story and I am very very proud." On the work front, Ranveer is currently all over the papers and the internet too for an immensely powerful performance in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy. His next film is going to be Takht, which is a Karan Johar film. The actor is also working on Kapil Dev biopic '83 directed by Kabir Khan.
