Renowned television and film actor Narendra Jha passed away on March 14, 2018. The versatile character actor hailing from Madhubani, Bihar died of massive heart attack in Wada, Nashik on Wednesday. The 55-year-old actor was a recognized face in the film industry working in big-budgeted movies such as Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kaabil and Mohenjo Daro featuring Hrithik Roshan in the lead, Shahid Kapoor’s Haider among many. Narendra Jha was next going to be seen in Prabhas-Shraddha Kapoor’s ambitious sci-fi movie Saaho, which sadly now be counted among the memorable posthumous movie appearances just like actress Sridevi’s role in Shah Rukh Khan and Anand L Rai’s film Zero. It is sad how our favourite actors and actresses depart the mortal world while their final goodbyes in form of films appear days or months later. It has been just three months into the new year 2018 and has already claimed many of our favourite stars. Narendra Jha, one of the most celebrated character actors of our time passed away suffering a major heart attack. At the time of his death, Narendra Jha’s wife Pankaja Thakur was by the actor’s side. A family member confirmed the news to Indian Express saying, “Narendra Jha passed away at his farmhouse in Wada this morning at about 5 AM. He suffered a massive heart attack.” The actor will be seen in upcoming trilingual sci-fi flick Saaho starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor. The film will release on October 12, 2018, and the last we will get to see the talented Narendra Jha.

Sridevi – Zero

Silver screen legend Sridevi died of accidental drowning in Dubai on February 24, 2018. The tragic incident left thousands mourning at the loss of their beloved Chandni, but the fans should find some solace seeing their favourite actress on the screen for the last time in SRK’s upcoming film Zero. Helmed by director Anand L Rai, Zero marks the last film appearance for Sridevi who will be seen in a special cameo appearance.

Om Puri – Tubelight

Salman Khan’s 2017 tear-jerker movie Tubelight turned out to be the last film of legendary actor Om Puri. He played the role of Banne Chacha, a loving and insightful man who was the source of constant guiding light and motivation to Salman’s character. It was heart-warming to watch Om Puri in yet another memorable role. One of Hindi cinema’s most versatile actor who also made a name in non-Indian films died of heart attack at the age of 66 on January 6, 2017.

Farooq Sheikh – Youngistaan

The man with the most gentle and calm smile, Farooq Sheikh left his fans and cinema industry grieving on December 28, 2013. The actor, philanthropist and popular television presenter was 65 when he died of massive heart attack while holidaying with his family in Dubai. 2014 film Youngistaan starring Jackky Bhagnani released post his death with Farooq Sheikh's performance as Akbar Patel, the secretary to the PM (played by Jackky) receiving much love and appreciation.

Did you know evergreen actor Shammi Kapoor’s last appearance in a feature film was 2011’s Rockstar with his grandson Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role? The legendary performer was not alive to see the film as he died few months before the release of the film!
