Bollywood actor Nana Patekar's mother passed away at the age of 99, on Tuesday morning. She was suffering with memory issues, however, could recognize her family members despite the illness. Nana was snapped at the Oshiwara crematorium where he performed her last rites. Nana, being a known artist in Marathi film industry, was visited by the celebs from the industry to meet him. Not just Marathi film industry but personalities from the Hindi film industry too were present here. His son, Malhar too accompanied him.

While Nana's father stayed in Mumbai for his printing business, Nana stayed with his mom in Murad. His father died when the actor was of 28. The actor has been quite vocal about being close to his mother during his interviews. He always talked about how he is scared of losing his mother despite knowing her age.

According to reports, Nana was not present at home when his mother, Nirmala, took her last breath. He was informed about her death later. We give heartfelt condolences to the to the family.
