To brief you up, let us tell you, Tanushree Dutta was asked in an interview if the #MeToo movement will ever take place in Indian cinema. To which, she had replied saying: "The thing is that our country has become so hypocritical, and people constantly ask why #MeToo movement is not happening in India, it won’t happen unless and until you’ll acknowledge what happened with me in 2008.” And just like that, a can of worms had been opened. The statement snowballed into resurfacing of the sexual harassment allegations that Tanushree had made against Horn Ok Pleasss co-star Nana Patekar. This time there are people supporting her instead of ignoring her.

Over the course of past one week, many Bollywood celebs have come forward in support of Tanushree and many have not. Tanushree recalled the incident blow by blow in several interviews, again and again. Nana has denied the allegations. He was supposed to hold a press conference today, which he cancelled in the morning after Tanushree filed a police complaint. The matter is now officially taking a legal course.
