After the super-successful stint in Rajkumar Hirani directed Sanju, Ranbir Kapoor is set to star in Brahmastra. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy. To add more fun into this sci-fi trilogy, popular South actor Nagarjuna has joined the cast, reports Deccan Chronicle. Now the face is not at all new for the Bollywood fans as we already know him because of the cult song ‘Tum Mile Dil Khile’ from Manisha Koirala starrer ‘Criminal’. Now, yet again he is stepping not the world of Hindi cinema with a stellar cast by his side.
A source was quoted by daily, “Nagarjuna wanted to do a Hindi film from a long time but was looking for an interesting project. He finally gave his nod to this one. He will join the Hindi film’s sets from Tuesday onwards in Mumbai."
Nagarjuna was recently in the news because of his film ‘Officer’ directed by Ram Gopal Varma. While the trailer looked quite pumped with action and powerful dialogues, it failed to mint the desired money at the box office, As reported in The News Minute, earlier, the movie collected only around Rs 75 lakhs at the box office.
Now, that he is returning to Bollywood after almost 15 years, we hope that he marks a remarkable comeback with his character. Brahmastra is said to be a super natural romantic movie that is modern age but has traces of ancient India into it. The movie is produced by Dharma Productions.
