Mulk Director Anubhav Sinha Asks Pakistani Viewers to Download & Watch Movie Online Illegally, Not Afraid of Piracy & Box Office Collection?

Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu's Mulk has been getting positive response all over. The courtroom drama revolves around a court drama where a Muslim family is striving hard to reclaim their honour. However, the movie got banned in Pakistan and the viewers there are not allowed ton view it. A statement released by the makers said that Federal Censor Board of Pakistan banned the film. But director Anubhav Sinha has advised the Pakistani fans to "watch the film illegally, if you must", reports IANS. Well, the filmmaker is not afraid of online piracy it seems!
Danyal Gilani, Chairman, Pakistan's Central Board of Film Censors said, "Members of the CBFC unanimously decided not to approve the trailer of 'Mulk' as its contents flout the Censorship of Film Code, 1980." On the other hand, Mulk co-producer and presenter Deepak Mukut expressed resentment saying, "We are disturbed by this prejudiced verdict and it's such an irony because our film talks about this very prejudice. We urge the Pakistani Censor Board to reconsider their decision."

The online piracy norm has grappled not only Bollywood but also other film industries like South and Hollywood. Major Bollywood films like Sanju, Dhadak, Veere Di Wedding, Race 3 got leaked online in HD formats. The demand for Hollywood films like Antman and the Wasp and Deadpool 2 also have been high. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth's Kaala was on the biggest hit-list of the piracy websites especially TamilRockers who openly threatened and leaked the movie online. Not only films but series like Sacred Games and Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story of Sunny Leone were also not spared from this spell.
The online piracy done by the popular pirate websites largely affect the box office collections as the viewers avoid to buy the tickets.
