Movies Releasing This Week: John Abraham's Romeo Akbar Walter, Vivek Oberoi's PM Narendra Modi, DC's Shazam!

This week, brace yourself for more barrage of movie releases when it comes to both Hollywood and Bollywood. Especially in Bollywood, there is some very interesting fare that is being served to the viewers on April 5. Out of which, we are not exactly sure if one of them will manage to reach the theatres. We are talking about PM Narendra Modi biopic that is releasing on Friday, and the many requests to stay its release before the onset of 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. Bombay High Court Refuses to Interfere with Release of Biopic On PM Narendra Modi.

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi is playing Modi in the film, which is directed by Mary Kom and Bhoomi fame, Omung Kumar. Vivek's father, veteran actor Suresh Oberoi is also the producer of the film, while Vivek is also making a debut as a writer. The movie also stars Zarina Wahab, Boman Irani, Darshan Kumar, Prashant Narayanan, Manoj Joshi and others. PM Narendra Modi has been accused by the Opposition for being an attempt to whitewash the image of the Prime Minister before the release of the film.

The second big Bollywood movie of the week in John Abraham's Romeo Akbar Walter aka RAW. The spy thriller is based on real-life incidents and is directed by Robbie Grewal. Mouni Roy is the female lead, while the movie also stars Jackie Shroff and Sikandar Kher.

There is also the controversial No Fathers in Kashmir that is releasing this Friday. Made by Oscar-nominated film-maker Ashvin Kumar, No Fathers in Kashmir is a teenage love story set in the turbulent Kashmir. Newcomers Zara Webb and Shivam Raina play the leads, while Soni Razdan, Ashvin Kumar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Anshuman Jha are a part of the supporting cast.

Now, let's talk about the big Hollywood releases of the week. First, there is the superhero film, Shazam!. Part of the DC universe, this Warner Bros film is about a young teenager Billy Batson who gets the superpowers through a magical ring that turns himself into a super-powerful adult, who retains the mind of the young Batson. Zachary Levi is playing the lead, while Mark Strong plays the main antagonist.

Then there is the WWE-produced Fighting With My Family. Starring the talented Florence Pugh in the lead, Fighting With My Family is the biopic of professional wrestler Paige. British actor Stephen Merchant has directed the film, that also stars Jack Lowden, Nick Frost, Lena Headey and Vince Vaughn. What's more Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is also having a cameo in the film.
