Move over Padmaavat, Sanjay Leela Bhansali to Cast Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in his Next Musical Drama?

So, all the fans who are honestly bugged with the Padmaavat controversies, here is a refreshment for you! Sanjay Leela Bhansali is done with the period drama fever and is all set to give us a new age film soon if the rumors are to be believed. When it is SLB, one cannot escape from the magnanimity that he loves to show on the big screen and we don’t even complain. According to a report in catch news, Bhansali is keen to do a musical drama, but hold on, this big budget film ‘might’ star none other than Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan!

Even though all this seems too good to be true, one can easily expect a new age musical drama from the ace director, knowing his understanding and execution of beautiful musical pieces in his movies. Talking about the lead stars, Shah Rukh Khan worked with him in ‘Devdas.’ On the other hand, Salman gave us ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and 'Khamoshi: The Musical' (a musical drama) along with the filmmaker. Assuming the fact that the fans of these two mighty Khans are waiting for them to share the silver screen, Bhansali is that one person who can actually give them equally interesting roles on one canvas.

After all the massive chaos around Padmaavat, the Guzaarish director wanted to opt for a low- budget film. However, his production house persuaded him to stick to his usual way of big budget filmmaking and he gave in! Well, his last three films Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat had Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh as protagonists. Now, even though King Khan and bhai don’t be a part of this rumored project, it will be energizing to watch a new cast. What are your thoughts on this?
