Mouni Roy Announces the Wrap of Rajkummar Rao Starrer Made in China With This Picture
Mikhil Musale's Made In China is all set to hit the silver screens on August 30, 2019.
Mouni Roy, who was last seen in John Abraham's Romeo Akbar Walter, will next be seen in filmmaker Mikhil Musale's Made In China alongside Rajkummar Rao. The actress, on sunday, announced the wrap of her upcoming film Made In China. Mouni took to the photo-sharing app to share a series of pictures, while her caption for the post read, "Oh what a trippppp! ❤️MADE IN CHINA❤️" Made In China, that went on floors September (2018) last year, will be bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan's production house Maddock Films, which also produced Rajkummar Rao's last film blockbuster film Stree. In one of the pictures, Mouni can be seen posing with the cast and crew of the film, while in another, the Gold actress can be seen cutting a cake with co-star Rajkummar and director Musale. On the professional front, apart from Rajkummar Rao's Made in China, Mouni Roy will next be seen sharing the screen space with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in Brahmastra. The actress, who made her Bollywood debut with Reema Kagti's Gold alongside Akshay Kumar after a successful stint in television, also has bagged her fifth Hindi film Bole Chudiyan opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Helmed by Mikhil Musale, Made In China will trace the life of a struggling Gujarati businessman, whose wife (played by Mouni) pushes him to go to China to expand his business. The film is all set to hit the silver screens on August 30, 2019. Earlier, the film was to release on the date of Independence Day 2019 but since Prabhas' Saaho and John Abraham's Batla House are reportedly set to open, Made In China was pushed from its original release date.
