On October 11 the makers of Motichoor Chaknachoor released the film’s trailer, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty. The lead pair is impressive and it is this unusual and refreshing pairing that has grabbed audiences’ attention. We must say, Pushpinder Tyagi (Nawazuddin) and his maudi Annie (Athiya) have won our hearts already with their adorable chemistry in this rom-com, and this first look poster is enough to prove. The trailer of Motichoor Chaknachoor showed how Pushpinder Tyagi, a middle-aged man, is waiting to get hitched and is on a run in search of girls. And Annie is looking out for an NRI man and fulfill her dream of getting settled down in abroad. Pushpinder, a Dubai return (after losing his job), meets Annie and the duo start liking each other. They tie the knot but it is after that Annie learns that her husband has been fired from the Dubai job. There is oodles of family drama and tons of light-hearted moments.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui revealed what made him agree to sign this film. He was quoted saying as, “When I read this script, the oddly, straight laced and unintentionally funny Pushpinder (my character), really stood out. His desperation to get married drives him a little crazy forcing him down some insane alleys of life,” reports IANS. Motichoor Chaknachoor, directed by Debamitra Biswal, is all set to hit the silver screens on November 15.
