Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Athiya Shetty starrer Motichoor Chaknachoor is making news for a rather unpleasant reason. The film's trailer was loved by the fans owing to the small-town love story that it is. Also, the freshness brought by this on-screen pair is something their fans are eagerly looking forward to. However, the latest update on the movie's release is that it might not get released on November 15 as scheduled earlier. The reason for this sudden delay is said to be a public fall out between the producer of the film, Rajesh Bhatia and crew members including director Debamitra Hasan. As per a fresh report by SpotboyE.com, the flick will be delayed for uncertain time period. It is also said that the crew members of the film including the director, art director, editor and choreographer got into an ugly spat with Bhatia. He reportedly abused the filmmaker and as they got into the fight, it resulted into the producer allegedly sacking her from the post of the director.
The report also says that lead actress of the film has not yet received the full payment for her role as well. The producer has not come out with any clarification yet. The film was considered to be a major one for Athiya as she starred in the film as the main lead after being the part of multi-starrers before. It is yet unknown whether Athiya's father-actor Suniel Shetty intervened in the matter or not.
