Mother's Day 2018: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sunny Leone, Sushmita Sen - Meet the New-age Mommies of Bollywood
Today, on Mother's Day, we bring to you a list of Bollywood actresses who perfectly define what they call a 'new age mommy'.
The Hindi cinema has changed tremendously in the last few years and so have Bollywood actors. With each passing day, B-Townies are setting a new benchmark, especially when it comes to their personal life. Take for instance Bollywood's mommies. These actresses have changed the definition of motherhood in the recent years hereby proving to be an inspiration to every mother out there. Today, on Mother's Day, we bring to you a list of Bollywood actresses who perfectly define what they call a 'new age mommy'.
Kareena Kapoor Khan
Talking about breaking stereotypes and redefining motherhood, Kareena Kapoor's name definitely tops the list. She got a lot of flak for 'leaving her baby' four days after delivering and resuming work, getting back to normal life but there is no stopping Kareena! Bebo is the perfect example of how a woman can strike just the right balance between personal and professional life. For all those who shamed her for the same, get a life!
Sushmita Sen
Sushmita Sen adopted her first daughter Renee when she was only 25-years-old! Sushmita raised many eyebrows back then when the concept of a single mom was comparatively new to India and was considered a taboo. But she paid no heed to any sort of criticism and went ahead with her life. Kudos to this brave move! The actress then adopted Alisaah in 2010.
Sunny Leone
Sunny Leone has managed to carve a niche for herself in Bollywood. Sunny and her husband Daniel Weber adopted Nisha Kaur Weber, from Maharashtra’s Latur a few months back. Sunny's this step of adopting a baby left many inspired and we respect her immensely for that.
Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May in most countries honouring the altruistic work they do every day to make our lives better. The day celebrates motherhood and appreciates their loving care. Mother's Day 2018 falls on May 13.
