Mom, which released in China on May 10, has been minting money at the box office without any trouble. The crime thriller starring Sridevi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is doing so well at the ticket windows that its already on its way to enter the coveted Rs 100 crore club in China. After ending week one on a good note, the film fared well over the second weekend and is now set to cross the $15 million mark at the China box office this week. Mighty impressive, right? The last film that stormed the ticket windows in China was Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte and Tabu starrer Andhadhun. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and announced the updated figures. He wrote, "#Mom slowed down on [second] Fri, but showed better results on Sat and Sun in #China... Should comfortably cross $ 15 million, as per current trending... [Week 2] Fri $ 0.64 mn, Sat $ 1 mn, Sun $ 0.92 mn. Total: $ 12.19 million [₹ 84.77 cr]."

Adarsh then tweeted, "Indian films that crossed $ 15 million in #China...

In fact, the late superstar Sridevi even won the National award for her terrific performance in Mom.
