Not too long ago, Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Andhadhun broke a lot of box office records in China and now its Sridevi's Mom which has got cash registers ringing and how! The crime thriller, co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, released in China on May 10 and immediately got off to a solid start at the ticket windows. After crossing the Rs 50 crore mark in five days, the film ended week 1 on a high note as it collected Rs 67.93 crore. And just a few days back it became the eight Bollywood film to enter the Rs 100 crore club in China. However, Mom is far from ending its theatrical run and it's still drawing the crowds to the cinema halls. Mom China Box Office Collection: Sridevi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui Starrer Becomes the Eight Indian Film to Enter the Coveted Rs 100 Crore Club

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to the microblogging site Twitter a while back and announced the updated figures saying, "#Mom crosses $ 16 million in #China... The film was out of #Top10 charts across the [fourth] weekend but re-entered #Top10 on [fourth] Mon... Total till 3 June 2019: $ 16.01 million [₹ 110.80 cr]... All eyes on #Kaabil [Hrithik’s debut film in #China], which opens tomorrow."

While Sridevi and Nawauzddin's film is going rock steady at the box office, it will be interesting to see how Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam's Kaabil performs in China. Will it impress the Chinese audience and mint big moolah? Guess we'll know pretty soon. Mom China Box Office Collection: Sridevi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Crime Thriller Set to Enter the Rs 100 Crore Club, Earns Rs 98.86 Crore

After Mom, Ishaan Khatter's debut film Beyond the Clouds also released in China on May 24. But the critically acclaimed film couldn't pack a solid punch at the box office in China and could well be on its way out of most theatres.
