Vidya Balan and Sanjay Kapoor have started working on one of the most ambitious films - Mission Mangal. Vidya will be seen playing Sanjay's wife in the movie. The shooting took place in Chembur today. It was just a few days ago when Akshay Kumar, the lead actor of the movie introduced the other characters of the film. The post on social media featured Akshay Kumar posing with Sharman Joshi, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, and Nithya Menon. According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, Akshay Kumar’s production house, ‘Cape Of Good Films’ recently signed a three-movie deal with Fox Star Studios. The alliance will be kicked off with space film Mission Mangal. Take a look at Sanjay Kapoor's pic here-
Mission Mangal has already begun shooting from November 5, which also marks the date when India's first Mars mission has been launched. The movie is reportedly based on the woman scientists who were working on the project, leading to speculations that it is inspired by the Hollywood film Hidden Figures. Akshay is working with his PadMan director R Balki again, though the latter is serving only as a producer.
Directed by Jagan Shakti, Mission Mangal is scheduled to release on August 15, 2019.
