So, Bollywood fans should just buckle up their shoes as a plethora of big-budget films is on the verge of getting released. August has been blessed with a long weekend, owing to India’s Independence Day. Long weekends have become synonymous with big movie releases. These movies have been in the headlines for a long, long time. The buzz created around the films and the Saif Ali Khan-Nawazuddin starrer series, was always high. The teaser of Mission Mangal was just released and so was Sacred Games 2’s. Both of them have levelled up the audience’s expectations with one video, thus creating the confusion as to what to choose.

Mission Mangal stars Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, H. G. Dattatreya and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead. The Jagan Shakti led space drama looked promising via the teaser.

On the other hand, the second season of the Netflix series has been in the talks since the first one ended. The new one that stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saif, Kalki Koechlin, Pankaj Tripathi, Ranveer Shorey amongst others and this one seems even more thrilling. Speaking of Batla House, the teasers of the encounter-based crime drama has managed to pique interest. This will be another action film starring John Abraham, Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, Prakash Raj amongst others. Then, there is multi-lingual, multi-starrer film Saaho. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunkey Panday apart from Prabhas. This is the first outing of Prabhas after dedicating five years to SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise. So, the buzz is too high.
