Mission Mangal despite not being a solo release is performing exceptionally well in India. It released along with John Abraham's Batla House over Independence Day. The reviews have suggested that it the strong performances of the lead cast that make this film a success. . Looking at the film's performance in India, it looks like it is going to put up a strong figure for its four day extended opening weekend. According to estimates, the film could collect up to 80 crores which is amazing for a film revolving around science and not being from a conventional genre. The film is also expected to keep its stride high at the International box office.
