After Uri - The Surgical Strike and Kabir Singh, its Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal which has set the box office on fire quite literally. The space drama directed by Jagan Shakti has ended its first weekend on a very solid note. The film took a fabulous opening on Thursday, August 15 and since then has been getting cash registers ringing non-stop at the Indian box office. Yes, the film dropped on Friday as it was a normal weekday but Mission Mangal packed a solid punch on Saturday and Sunday, ensuring a grand four-day total. Revealing the film's updated figures, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, "#MissionMangal sets the BO on 🔥🔥🔥... Springs a biggg surprise... Packs a fabulous total in its *extended* weekend... Metros superb, mass circuits join the party [on Sun]... Thu 29.16 cr, Fri 17.28 cr, Sat 23.58 cr, Sun 27.54 cr. Total: ₹ 97.56 cr. India biz."
