Mirzapur: After Kiara Advani, Neha Dhupia and Swara Bhasker, Shweta Tripathi To Have a Masturbation Scene in The Web-Series?

2018 is the year, it seems, that Bollywood is trying its best to get out of the closet in all ways. Cinema is becoming bolder in its content. The same goes for web-series, as celebs realise the potential of digital content this year. Some fo Ekta Kapoor's shows on her streaming app, ALT Balaji, and Netflix show Sacred Games had used the lack of censorship on digital platforms to go bold with their contents and characters. Now, we hear that, as per a report in DNA, Amazon Prime's upcoming web-series will feature a masturbation scene that involves one of its lead actresses, Shweta Tripathi. Shweta is known for her roles in films like Masaan and Haraamkhor. Reportedly this scene will be her intro in the web-series.

A source close to the development told the publication, "The masturbation scene marks Shweta’s entry in the series. It's part of the first episode itself where Shweta is seen reading a book in the library. In reality beneath her big textbook is a sexual descriptive book which arouses her. In the background, the series has the iconic Savita Bhabhi voice playing which makes the entire masturbation sequence bold and sensual. Shweta went completely by the vision of the director and pulled off the entire sequence in one take showing no awkwardness at all."

Earlier, we had Kiara Advani and Neha Dhupia perform a similar scene in the Netflix anthology film, Lust Stories. Also, of course, who can forget the controversial scene in this year's big screen flick, Veere Di Wedding, where Swara Bhasker's character was seen pleasuring herself with a dildo. While we are glad that actors are shedding their inhibitions to portray their characters as realistic as possible, we sure hope these scenes don't end up just to attract the sleaze-balls lying on the internet.

Talking more about Mirzapur, the show is created by Karan Anshuman, known for the Emmy nominated Inside Edge. The show also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Rasika Duggal, Vikrant Massey, Divyendu Sharma and Shriya Pilgaonkar.
