The Mirchi Music Awards was held yesterday (February 18), rewarding the most beautiful songs released last year. This award ceremony is presented annually to also honour and felicitate the artists in the Hindi-language film music industry. The event was graced by stars such as Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Sonu Nigam, the popular trio Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Amit Tridevi, Bappi Lahiri, and many others. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor bagged eight trophies at this prestigious event.
