Vikas recently slammed the accuser for tarnishing his name and not taking a legal route after she refused to take legal help. His lawyer senior advocate Janak Dwarkadas, said, “There cannot be such an easy way out. The allegation has ruined my (client’s) life, but it is immaterial to her. Now, I won’t have the opportunity to prove my innocence. My reputation in the industry has been tarnished at the hands of an alleged victim, who does not want to take any legal recourse.” The hearing was adjourned on October 25 and the further course of action will be decided soon.
