After many decided to give their #MeToo accounts, the movement is showing the much-needed impact. Sajid Khan who was exposed in this controversy is facing a consequence of his alleged actions. The Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association on Monday issued a showcause notice to Sajid. The Housefull director was accused of sexual harassment by many women. And now the association will take action against  him for his “offensive behaviour”

“Your lewd and obscene actions have brought disrepute to Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association,”read the notice,  reports Indian Express.  It would be pertinent to note that Journalist Karishma Upadhyay and actress Saloni Chopra accused Khan of misconduct and sexual harassment. Actress Rachel White claimed, it was reported, that Sajid had promised her a role in his next film if she could seduce him in five minutes. In the wake of the allegations, Khan stepped down as the director of upcoming comedy Housefull 4.

After Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar episode may have come forward to name and shame the known names from the industry as indeed from media circles such as Subhash Ghai, Rajat Kapoor, Sunil Grover, Alok Nath, Chetan Bhagat, MJ Akbar and many more.
