She requested SRK to help her son, as they need him during this tough time. "I want to remind Shah Rukh that this is the time, come and help my son. He just needs a little push. Shah Rukh is a very sweet man, he came twice to see Aadesh in the last stages of his cancer. Now that he has promised, I want to ask him to help my son; he needs you; he does not have a father. Aadesh made you promise that so you have to do something." she added.
Vijayta remarked that Shah Rukh Khan is a "big star today," but emphasised that her brothers, the music composer duo Jatin-Lalit, have played a significant role in his success. She noted that they provided him with hit songs in films like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman (1992), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), among others. Vijayta expressed that the actor "must do something for her family" in light of how much her family has contributed to his career.
