Meesha Shafi Strikes Again, Files Response to Ali Zafar's Defamation Notice

Ali Zafar and Meesha Shafi controversy is not going to end anytime soon. The Pakistani singer had accused Zafar of sexual harassment in the month of April this year. She said that she had thought of Ali as a close friend but her experiences with him had left her traumatised. The actor cum singer later had filed a defamation suit against her claiming all her allegations as false and baseless. He had said that he intended to take up the matter in the courts of law to address this issue professionally and seriously. In her response, Meesha has denied all allegations of slander made by Zafar in his notice. She's adamant that she will prove Zafar’s harassment with evidence and testimonies of several other women who have accused Ali of sexual misconduct. Meesha had previously filed a case against Zafar under the 2010 Punjab Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act. However, that was dismissed because an employee, employer relation could not be established.
