Marjaavaan New Stills: Sidharth Malhotra's Rage and Riteish Deshmukh's Calm Menace Will Intrigue You (See Pics)

Here is a treat for the fans of Sidharth Malhotra. A new look at the actor's next film, Marjaavaan, has dropped on the internet. The makers have released two news till from the film which shows us just how badass this one is going to be. In one of the pics, we see Sidharth charging at someone, with (what looks like) a hockey stick. There is rain in this scene making Sid look even menacing. The other still has Riteish Deshmukh's face on it. We already know that the actor is playing a dwarf in the film. But we are yet to get a proper look at his character. A poster which came earlier did not help much. Marjaavaan has been directed by Milaap Zaveri. In an interview, the filmmaker revealed that the idea of the film came from an Amitabh Bachchan-Subhash Ghai movie, which got shelved. "Years ago, Subhash Ghai started a film called Devaa with Amit ji (Amitabh Bachchan) as the hero, and Mr Lilliput as the villain. The project didn't materialise but that idea stayed with me. The anti-thesis is to make a larger-than-life guy short in stature," he told Mumbai Mirror.

Riteish and Sidharth have previously worked together in the movie Ek Villain. In Marjaavan, Riteish is again playing the antagonist. The movie also stars Tara Sutaria as the female lead. Marjaavaan will open in theatres on November 8.
