Marjaavaan First Look: Sidharth Malhotra Will Fight a Three Feet Tall Riteish Deshmukh in Milap Zaveri's Next

Just as we were going slightly anxious about Sidharth Malhotra's next outing, makers decided to pump up our excitement and it was worth this long wait. Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh's first look from Milap Zaveri's next directorial, Marjaavaan,  is finally out and it looks damn intriguing. The Housefull 4 actor plays a vertically challenged three-feet-long antagonist in this action thriller that would be distinctly different than his previous collaboration with Malhotra in Ek Villain. 

Speaking about his villain and the peculiarities in his character, Milap, in his conversation with Mumbai Mirror said, "We decided to make his villain a three-foot-tall but larger-than-life midget with a wicked sense of humour. His Vishnu is arrogant and thinks he is invincible."

Speaking about Riteish's scenes and how they were shot with VFX, Milap said, “We shot Riteish’s scenes against the green screen and without it for perspective. His eyeline has to match that of others so Riteish shot looking up, while his co-stars looked down. We couldn’t use two-three camera setups for Riteish’s scenes like we did for others. Marjaavaan also stars Tara Sutaria and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles. Sidharth and Ritesih's previous association minted good numbers at the box office and Marjaavaan too is expected to follow the same suit. After pushing ahead from its original release date, the film will now hit the screens on November 22, 2019.
