Marjaavaan has a lot to thank the single screen crowd for its collection at the box office. After perhaps War, this film has managed to dish out a perfect single screen bonanza and it is getting rewarded for the same. While multiplex audiences are shying away from the film, it's patronage in mass circuits is increasing. That has helped the film post a good first Monday number of Rs 4.15 crore. This takes the total to Rs 28.57 crore. Marjaavaan: 11 WTF Moments in Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, Rakul Preet and Riteish Deshmukh’s Film (SPOILER ALERT)
Although the number is more than just decent because it is an acceptable trend for first Monday numbers to see 50% drop in collection compared to the Friday, the film was expected to earn at least Rs 30 crore or more on its first four days. Hopefully, Marjaavaan will manage to keep trending in a similar fashion for the film to become a huge success.
#Marjaavaan has smooth sailing on Day 4... Mass circuits remain rock-steady, keeping the total healthy... Ditto for multiplexes beyond metros... Fri 7.03 cr, Sat 7.21 cr, Sun 10.18 cr, Mon 4.15 cr. Total: ₹ 28.57 cr. #India biz.
