Marjaavaan and Motichoor Chaknachoor were two of the releases that hit the theatres yesterday. Marjaavaan battled a lot of date reshuffles to reach there. We told you yesterday that the morning shows of the film were getting crowd to the theatres and had registered 25-30% occupancy. There were expectations that the film will score a double digit number on its first day but it didn't happen. The film earned Rs 7.03 crore at the box office on Day 1. It will be interesting to see how the film performs in next two days because that will be crucial to have a good score by the end of the first weekend. As per reports the movie is made at a landing cost of Rs 75 crore.
